The Psychology of Showering
OK -- Random, pointless survey (just because I was wondering about it in my half-awake state in the shower this morning):
When you get ready to take a shower, do you:
a) Stand outside the tub/stall (dressed or undressed), start the water and test it with your hand to determine when to get in
b) Get into the tub/stall and turn on the water pointed away from you, or stand out of its reach, until it adjusts to your comfort level
c) Get in and turn it on full force over yourself immediately
I wonder what elements of a person's personality could be extracted from simple behaviors like these. Hmm.

(b)
Sometimes (a), but also sometimes a combination of (a) and (c): Stand inside the tub, turn on the water for the tub-faucet part, test it, then switch the water flow to the showerhead.
mostly (a) but some (b) and (c) or ..
other which is get in and turn on tub, test with foot, turn to shower and scramble out of reach until it gets warm (based on hand touch).
have fun extracting. :D
Always (A) - many times you have to wait for a while for the water to get hot, sbut still ...
Shouldn't you have learnt by now after something like 15+ years of showering IE not getting scalded or after Ithaca had enough of near freezing rain?
I was including peninah's "other" in (b), and for the record, that's what I do.
