Whew
I'm back from The Big Event, and recovering, but I'm too scatterbrained at the moment to say anything of substance...except thank you, G-d. Baruch ata Hashem, Elokeinu melech ha'olam, shehechiyanu v'kiyemanu v'higiyanu lazman hazeh. Oh, and thank you for the weather, too. :-)
A few pics, though:

Hey - the new duds suit you.
YEH!
They are impressive cloths. Did they happen to come w/ pieces of paper? Does Arch call you up by name? (Ag is sorta anticlamactic on that one...)
Oh.. Thanks for all the prayers... Being that I camped out this weekend, near albany, the prayers for weather were good. It only rained Sat night late, and was over before the morning.. Actually- rain on tents is quite nice :-)
Look for our sharp pointy things over by me. We were throwing them. Axes, knives... then arrows. :-)
Yeah, Arch called us up by name...and handed each of us an empty folder.
Most people could pick up their "pieces of paper" right afterwards, but I have to wait until my last course gets graded and the credit transferred. It's OK though -- I would've been afraid of getting it messed up if I got it then.
Yes, rain on tents IS nice. There were two 5-minute thunderstorms, both while we were under the tent on the quad. Perfect.
Well, I can't find my diploma at the moment...
yay! :) glad the weather was nice to you... you had any and all prayers I could send that way...
Mazel tov!!! We are SOOOOOO happy for you!! Sorry we missed you the other night. Shabbat shalom!
Congrats! ... and I was one to check inside the folder immediately too then carry on (AG does put it inside so long as you're paid up and actually done)
I know I'm a little late on this comment, but I'm reminded of my brother's graduation. They handed him a piece of paper, which was either blank, or had instructions for where he could pick up his degree certifying him as a Columbia graduate...assuming everything was in order with library bills and such. So, short story long, we went to pick up the degree, and now we have a picture of my brother actually receiving his degree - from a guy who wasn't dressed up at all, unless you count the dreadlocks and the piercings.
