- Name: Alisha
"To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch...to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded!" -Emerson

It would certainly make things interesting... No more would the Orthodox world be able to consult different rabbis on topics - Sanhedrin rulings on anything they chose to involve themselves with would be pretty... inviolate, no? Could be good for some things, definitely depends on the make up of the sanhedrin for others. Of course, they need some form of majority support to convene if I understood right, which leads to a question of who qualifies, which is messy enough already... how that would be effected by the conservative or reform movements (and how in turn, if created, it might act/interact with them... *ponder* )
Interesting. Somewhat scary.
